My husband's cardiologist recommended he wear compression stockings to minimize leg/foot swelling. We bought several pairs locally (without zippers). Unless you are really strong (and a contortionist) it is extremely difficult to put regular compression stockings on another person. Even two different experienced home care aides struggled. Ordered two-pack of these zippered stockings. What a difference! Once you get the toe part on (pretty easy), get stocking over the heel (slightly hard), then all you do is zip up the leg part (a cinch). Now even I can put on his compression socks for him.I used these for myself and happy with them! After trying other compression socks which were very hard to put in place my wife spoke to her doctor and learned of the zipper variety. Purchased two pair and what a difference. They fit well and are much easier to put on. Zipping needs a little stretching of the fabric to ease the zipper up. My only concern is how much use will it take to separate the zipper from the fabric of the sock but can only hope it all will work long term. This product was used by my husband,as he has surgery on his foot and was told to wear a compression sock on his foot. Was easier to apply this sock with zipper to his foot, helped in reducing swelling at his ankle and help him in walking without pain. Very grateful;.I like that these have a zipper it makes them so much easier to get in and offGood product. Zippers on the side made it super easy to put on. Anyone who has worn compression socks knows how difficult that is. I wish I had ordered the pair that goes up past the knee… But that’s on me. The product itself is excellent and for a good fair priceSwollen legs and anklesWe decided to try zipper compression socks for my husbands diabetic feet and legs. We tried alot of different ones and found that the zipper is important!!! Some are so small that I had trouble grasping it to pull the sides together while zipping it up! These do the job.
