I won’t buy anything else as long as these are available. They’re very cushioned and I love the arch support. These socks wash and wear very well. They don’t stretch out and get thin. Very durable and comfortable. Highly recommend these socks. I wear a woman’s size 9 shoe and get the medium socks. They fit perfectly.So far these are really comfortable cushioned socks for hiking or walking. They have a thick fabric cushion along the sole which gives a lot of support for long walks. However the material provides a moisture wicking, cooling effect to keep your feet dry. Since the fit is a bit thicker than most socks, be aware that certain shoes may fit a bit tighter with these on. These pair well with hiking boots and casual walking shoes. The pattern is attractive and with very durable stitching. The ankle cut size is perfect for warm weather. Overall these are well designed, high quality cushion socks and I can already tell they will hold up over time.I own a 24 acre mini-ranch and do a lot of hard outdoor work that involves a considerable amount of walking. Thus, I'm picky about my footwear and wear out socks perhaps faster than the average person.After wearing these "Pro Mountain Quarter Ankle Compression Athletic Cotton Hiking Socks," I am quite please with them. They are made of durable material, well finished (sewing) with seams that don't create pressure points in my boots. The toe box and heel areas have extra padding to prevent blisters. They provide good arch support, which is important to me because I have high insteps. I don't like socks that cut off at the ankle or rise three or four inches above the ankle because I find either uncomfortable during a hard day's work. The legging part of these socks goes up to about an inch and a half above the ankle, which is comfortable for me. The material used provides adequate wicking so that my feet don't sweat.These socks are sized at US men's 9 - 11. I wear a size 10 shoe and find these fit very nicely. After a few weeks of wearing them, they are holding up well so I think they will provide a long lifespan of use. Overall, I'm quite pleased with these socks and recommend them for anyone who does a lot of walking, hiking, and sports activities.
