I have variable moderate leg and foot edema from varicose veins, old sun damage, and arteriosclerosis, more than ordinary compression socks could manage. Getting regular compression socks on and off was painful and sometimes damaged my skin - and threatened worse with time. **Presadee** Closed Toe Zipper Compression Socks solved my sock problem like magic! It's easy to get the socks on and off without pain. I can loosen them any time night or day if I wish, or leave them in place. I hardly know they are on me most of the time, and so far they resist wear and tear nicely. You can wear other sox over them, under them, or not at all. The ads instruct you how to measure your foot and leg at 4 or more places for the best fit, and there is a good variety of styles (I like closed toe and all black). The zipper is built with a fabric flap along its length to shield the skin from the zipper itself. The images in the ads often show the zipper partly open, just to illustrate the zipper, which otherwise is inconspicuous. They are sold 1 pair (two socks) equals one package. I think you could wear each sock on right or left leg, but I have not checked on that since I always use them on both legs. A "left" sock might work on a "right" leg, but the zipper might be on the other "side" of the leg if that matters, which I do not know. I usually wear them all or most of each night because they are so comfortable and so easily adjusted or put on or put off as desired. Mine are called "moderate compression", 15-20 mm Hg, size 2XL, and come up to just below the knee ("calf level"). We have laundered a few pair in ordinary laundry with other clothing, with no apparent harm to them or other clothing. They are made in China. I got these in April, 2022. These are outstanding sox, top quality and fit! I give them my full enthusiastic support after two weeks of relief and joy with them on me! I probably will buy more so I never run out of them.
