My orthopedic doctor recommended I get compression socks to reduce the swelling that I am experiencing with my achellis tendonitis I am dealing with. Being young I didn't want to buy any that made me look like a little old lady and these socks were just what I was looking for. They are colorful and offer the amount of compression that I needed with a cute look to them. I could tell a difference from the moment I put them on but I did have a small amount of swelling in the heal and ankle before I put them one it was almost an immediate relief. They are knee length, which is great because I have to have the length on the socks for my orthopedic boot I am wearing along with it to avoid rubbing. Overall, a great buy judging from the one day I have had them in my possession. Oh, and I need to mention that I ordered these Friday afternoon and had them Monday with regular shipping. That's pretty fast in my opinion.
