I'm a 40-something male who runs 9-15 miles a week. I tried several compression socks brands over the last 2 years, including Mojo.I should start by saying I almost didn't buy these. My last pair of MoJo's were terrible. But, I wanted to give them another shot and quite frankly these were cool looking. Let's start with appearance. These are by far the most attractive compression socks I've owned. I bought the white/grey combination and find they match well with lots of running outfits and get a lot of approving looks. On to fit. A true compression sock, even one marketed as gradual compression, should fit very snug. True to form, these take a little wiggling to get into and cling to you legs during runs. So there's no worry of sleepy socks. (My previous MoJo's not only slip, but are uneven so one is taller than the other when pulled up properly.) My pair have been washed three times and they go right back to their tight fit after each wash. Now let's talk about performance. The easiest way to tell if a compression sock is offering relief is to wear for an extended period, then take them off. After wearing these during runs and for at least 40 minutes after each run, I experienced no pain below the knee. No calf pain. No tightness across the top of the foot. In fact, the process of removing draws attention to how much support they were providing.Comfort is the last item on our checklist. The material is soft and smooth to touch and feels great across the skin.Everything about this sock looks, performs and feels high quality.Nice thick. Have been using for years. New thicker but length of foot portion a bit shortI typically wear compression stockings that I buy from my vascular doctor. I do competitive walking and I needed some compression stockings that are more reasonably priced in case I accidently snag them. A year ago I bought a pair from a local running supply store at the staggering price of $60. I wore my Mojo's last weekend at a fundraising walk and I am pleasantly surprised at how well they worked for me. They kept leg swelling to a minimum and they are quite comfortable. In fact I bought a black pair this week. I had two ladies approach me at the walk to ask where I bought them from. I will be buying more in the future in different colors. I didn't give it 5 stars for one reason. They aren't quite long enough. The foot part is fine. I would prefer it come higher up my calf though. I am 5'6" which isn't tall for a woman, so a women any taller might want them to come further up to the knee.Socks look just like picture. My SO was measured by a dr and told to buy a size large in compression socks with 20-30 pressure. He is 6' 3 and 230 # and size 13 shoe - tall and lean in the legs. He might have needed an XL but they are supposed to be snug and hard to get on. These were super tight, the way they are supposed to be but most people will struggle to get them on unless you have the strength of a large fella. How to get them on without sweating!start at the open end and roll the sock over itself until you get to the toe. put the rolled up sock over your toes, pull and tug, they should be really snug, and then unroll the sock. sounds easy right? but unrolling will take some elbow grease too. These socks are great - easy enough to get on and off, good compression, comfortable but for MY legs- they are slightly long and the top band folds a bit behind my knee and over time is quite uncomfortable - that said, if you have longer shins than I do, these are wonderful socks. If they make a "petite" I will definitely give them another try.UPDATE: ordered these in the next smaller size just to try since they are great socks and they are just shorter enough to work very well- I often wear a higher compression so though their being a bit tighter was not an issue for me - compression was good SO maybe if you are not long legged - order the smaller size? (calf/foot measured L, the M fit better, I wear a 9.5 shoe, 16.5 widest calf measurement, 16 3/4" if i put my foot up on a chair and measure from the back of my knee- tucked in the crease where you like a sock to sit- to the chair surface)The socks were put to the test when I had to be on my feet at a racetrack from 6 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., standing in one area on concrete or asphalt the entire time except for lunch. My legs felt good all day (my back, meh, but that's another issue). I'd have given the socks a five-star rating -- and maybe I should -- but I reserve that for true perfection. My only wish is that the socks had a bit wider band at the top, as I have very muscular calves then I admit a bit o' fat just below the knee and the compression was slightly uncomfortable there. All in all these are wonderful and for the first time since working this event I did not go home with "cankles."I am a 64 year old man working part time in a retail job. My fit bit says I walk over 10,000 steps a day and the days I am working it's all on concrete! My ankles where killing me. Legs, knees and feet where fine????Tested the white pair and was so impressed I immediately bought 4 more pair.NOTES:Although the colors are listed as one style the colors with the checkered front seem to have better ankle compression.I wish they would have given me the care instructions before I bought them. Hand washing is no big deal but I'm not sure I can afford to replace $20 dollar socks every 2 to 3 months. These are the best compression socks I have found so far. I wore these on two (2) 10 hour + air trips to and from Europe and during our two week stay. Many pairs of the socks with me visited the ship laundry at least once with no significant shrinkage problem. I just wish my extra large size were available in other colors. My normal ware is MOJO extra large socks in white with a light olive check pattern. Why MOJO? My podiatrist mandates that I were 15-20 compression socks daily--No exceptions. I tried many brands recommended by him and others. None held up as well or were as reasonably pro iced as MOJO.
