I love the colors but I want something that will offer compressionThese socks are not thick at all. Just go to Walmart and buy some there.I just really did end of loving these socks after all. At first I thought they were gonna be way too small. But to my suprise the ended up fitting prefect!!These are VERY nice socks if you are a size 6 1/2 or less. My feet are a standard size 7, not wide or narrow, and I feel these socks are not quite long enough, my toes feel bit cramped. But I LOVE the knitted arch support! I have those in yoga socks and love this feature. It's like a little hug for your arches. The knitted in elastic at top does a great job of keeping them up on my ankles and would be great to wear in boots as well; I hate when my socks slide down in my boots. Very nice quality! I recommend, but keep in mind they are best for feet smaller than a size 7 in my opinion.These come in really pretty colors, and they are not a cheap fabric. That being said, I do not have huge feet at all, and these were pretty snug. They do feel comfortable once on, but very elastic and tight around the ankle and arch. Despite that, I would probably recommend them though, because they are pretty decent quality socks.Great fit no sliding down
