Had an angioplasty in leg, followed by swelling. Tried a thigh high sock, couldn't get it on. Went to a self adhesive sports wrap, which worked in reducing swelling, but still had problems after 90 days of use. Tried the Lemon Zipper sock for the past 4-5 days, with instant improvement. Its cool to wear, the swelling in my leg and foot are greatly reduced. The only complaint I have is that I am short, 5'5" and so have to roll the top down to keep it below my knee.The item seems like it will work but medium was to small so I did what it said to contact the company which was lemonhero and they said they would exchange but they did not and sounds to me like we have to do the return at Amazon and then re order the correct size, that is not what the paperwork says.So much easier to put on with the zipper and comfortableAfter 3months ...I finally figured out how to get these socks on ... Ithought they were destined for the trash bin but wanted to try one more time as my legs get so very swollen due to poor venal circulation and being overweight (5'1" 170 lbs) - 2 important things are needed ... 1 pair of rubber gloves (like medical gloves or gardening gloves with grippers) AND do NOT unzip them to put them on - First put your foot in (it takes time)and then carefully pull them up to where you want them - Smooth the ankle area (practice makes perfect) and VOILA !!! Before, I had tried them on unzipped, and even with someone's help I couldn't zip them up. In frustration I tried again while still zipped up and VOILA they were on and I wore them for several hours - They did not slide ... once in a while I re-smoothed the ankles but that's it. You won't win the best dressed contest but worn under pants they are invisible - I almost threw them out from frustration ...little did I know that they are fine and doing the job I need them to. VERY PLEASED NOW !!!! ..If at first you don't succeed, try again ...and again ... worked for me - I have a neuro-muscular debilitating disease but I was still able to pull them up. You unzip them when taking them off - It's best to be seated comfortably and low enough to reach your feet to have leverage. They are of very good quality too .These are easier to put on than regular support hose, but still a chore. The zipper is hard to zip and finding the heel is a challenge. Once on, the compression is satisfactory. I will keep these but won't buy them again.Bought for my mother who has swollen feet . Socks and keeping feet elevated worked.Like the product, but runs small, order 1 size larger.I own 6 pairs of these socks and wear a pair everyday. I like the covered toe as I don't walk anymore. Unzipped they are easy to start on (when compared to non zippered socks). The fabric along the zipper prevents catching skin or hair along the calf. They are durable. I have been using them for over a year with no need to replace or plant replace any pair. They are pricey, but given the durability over many wash, dry, wear cycles, well worth the price. I wear them daily and highly recommend them.
