I've been searching for high-quality, ultra-thin running socks since DeFeet made the apparent decision to abandon the runner in favor of the cyclist. Had they not done so, I would not have discovered these SkinLife Compression socks from Pure Compression. Leave it to the Italians to do it right. The socks fit like a dream, are very comfortable to run in over long miles, are wonderfully thin, and so far (200+ miles), hold up very well. They are quite breathable and dry very quickly. Another thing I really like about them is that the cuff comes nicely and comfortably above the ankle—no where near crew sock height, but just right. I was amused by the Left and Right sock designations, but I'll tell you, they don't feel right if you get your feet mixed up. It's 50/50 whether I grab the right sock for the right foot, but so far I'm batting a thousand. I've followed the manufacturer's advice to NOT DRY THEM IN THE DRYER and I would suggest you do too. Like I said, they dry very quickly in the open air, especially here in Colorado where the humidity is so low most of the time. I bought two pair and will certainly buy more soon to replace my aging and deteriorating DeFeet collection. Purchase these fine socks with confidence and GO RUN!
