They're too thin for me, and the material feels cheap, almost like polyester blend. I gave them to my wife, who prefers thinner socks, and she thinks they're OK, thus the 3 star review. But for me, they're a no-go.These are very soft and comfy socks, and they are also very thin, so not a good choice to wear with tennis shoes of if you are working out, as they don't provide much protection. The fit very low on the foot - so you will not see them at all - and if you have shoes that at all rub around your ankle they could be uncomfortable. However, with the right kind of summer shoe they are great, providing a little extra protection as opposed to going without socks.Socks or thinner so they seem to be highly appropriate for summertime wear in florida.These socks are a must have for hot steamy summer days in florida. Can wear with dress or casual wear.
