These socks are just what I was needing. I was in a car accident several years ago that crushed my heel. I have been having some issues with my feet swelling ever since. I had been using socks that were recommended by my doctor that were just okay and they lasted a really long time. But to replace them was very expensive. So I came across these and thought for the price point, why not try them. I am pleasantly surprised so far. These SOCKS compress my feet in all the right places without them feeling uncomfortable or too tight. I am a petite woman and I have pretty small feet and most of the socks I had found on line were for people with big feet and fairly huge calves. These are a tiny bit long but I can cuff them down comfortably without cutting off the circulation to my feet. I really like them and getting extra pairs at the same time is a bonus for the relatively low price I paid. I received 7 pair, 3 beige and 4 black. I wash them in my washing machine with my underwear in lingerie bags to protect them in cool water. I will ONLY dry them on hangers with clothespins. I NEVER place them in the dryer, as I am pretty sure they would not last as long if I did. I am very pleased with these socks and getting seven pairs for the price. I really do like them and will probably order them again before too long so I have plenty in stock. I personally did go a size up from my usual Small/Medium to a Large/X-Large because I have noticed from other people reviews that these do run a bit smaller than one would think. Even though I do notice a small bit of marks on my calves at the end of the day, the marks go away after taking them off in just a few minutes, nothing for concern. I was told by my PT that is normal. If anything changes and I notice anything significant, I will come back here and update this review. Until then, try them out and see if you get the good results I did. Personally I hope you do. These are so comfortable!
